Gracias a mi Cacike tengo el privilegio a escuchar conversaciones en Taino -- como dicen Las Chronicas -- la lengua las mas dulce en el mundo. Nuestro Tribu son bendecido que nuestro Cacike todavia habla nuestro lenguaje, pero lamentable, hay muy poco gente que todavia tiene este don. Lenguaje y tradiciones son regional.  Por eso, El Cacike y yo (Tekina-eirú) estamos trabajando un proyecto de lenguaje "revitalization" para restorar el dialecto Taino de la Montañas Sureste de Boriken, una region que consistia de: Cayey, San Lorenzo, Caguas, Comerio, Cidra, Aibonito, y Orocovis. La tema de esta charla es identificar vocabulario que es parte de nuestro dialecto.  Todo el mundo estan bienvenido a compartir!  Tenemos un sueño que un dia vamos a escuchar voces de niños hablando
Taino de nuevo en las montañas de nuestros antepasados.

Thanks to my Cacike, I have the privilege of enjoying conversations in Taino -- as the Chronicas say -- the sweetest language in the world! Our Tribe is blessed that our Cacike still knows how to speak Taino,
but there are very few of us left that have this gift. Language and traditions are regional.  For that reason, the Cacike and I (Tekina-eirú) are working on a language revitalization project to restore the Taino dialect specific to the Southeast mountain region of Boriken, a region that specifically consists of Cayey, San Lorenzo, Caguas, Comerio, Cidra, Aibonito, y Orocovis. The goal of this discussion is to identify vocabulary that is part of our dialect. Everyone is welcome to contribute! We have a dream that someday we will hear voices of children speaking Taino once again in the mountains of our Ancestos in Boriken.

Primero, para clarar / First to make clear:

Tereke significa trastos, motete, OBJECTO de su pertenencia sin mucho valor.
Tereke means junk, object that belongs to you that has little value

Tereke conforma con la regla que yo comparti' ayer:

Aqui es un sumario de las palabras y sentidos (de mi pregunta original) que corresponde a nuestra dialecto. Thanks everyone, and to the Cacike who contributed more info offline. Here is a summary of the words/meanings according to our dialect that we are documenting:

Tey toca' - estate quieto, calmate, sin mover (dicen la misma cosa)
Tey toca' - be quiet, calm down, to stand still (they all say the same thing)

La nota importante es que en "nuestro" dialecto para estos estilo de palabras usamos la "y" en vez de la "i". Otro ejemplo es escribmos Areyto (en vez a escribir Areito)

An important note is that in "our" dialect, for this style of words we use the "y" instead of the "i". Another example is we write Areyto (instead of "Areito").

Esta palabra tiene estos sentidos:

Tereke : pertenencias, cosas or cosas de la casa que tu lleva contigo, tambien trastos
Tereke : belongings, object or household item that you would take with you, also things of little value, junk.

Este palabra no dice specificamente "mueble". La palabra es mas general
The word does not mean specifically "furniture". It is more general.

Nota el uso de la "k" en vez de la "qu" (como ecribe ese sonido en espanol)
Note the use of of k instead of the "que" (how you spell that sound in spanish).

Otro ejemplos son Cacike (no Cacique), Tekina (no Tequina)
Other examples are Cacike (not Cacique), Tekina (no Tequina).

En caso de la palabra -- tey toca' -- yo veo que hay un accento sobre la "a".
In the case of the word -- tey toca' -- I see there is an accent over the "a".

Yo lei' que la letra "a", con acento en la ultima silaba (antepenultima silaba?) sirve como un sufijo que denota accion, e.g. macana' es "usa la macana"

I read that the letter "a" , accent on last syllable, serves as a suffix that denotes action, e.g. macana' means to use the macana

Pregunta: Es sierto esa regla? Si es verdad, pienso yo que esto es un ejemplo:
tey toca' = tata quieto. Que te parece?

Question: Is that true? If so, this looks like an example:

What is the Taino word for 5?
Rescue- to remove a person in distress from a dangerous environment to a place of safety.
Recover is different from rescue.
Recover there is no distress involve.The victim is deceased.

Qual es la palabra en Taino para cinco?
Recuperar y rescate son diferente .
Rescate- remover una persona que nesesita auxilio de un sito de peligro a un de segurida
Recuperar la person no nesesita auxilio ya la victima fallecio.
